The era of Donovan Mitchell in Utah is officially over, as the Utah Jazz traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers for three unprotected first-round picks, pick swaps, and players. Dale and Nathan discuss Donovan’s legacy in Utah and what the future holds for the franchise. There might also be some jokes made at the expense of the New York Knicks.

The Utah Jazz have a lot riding on the first round this year. Will they have to blow it all up? 

The title may be a bit dramatic, but the Jazz have underperformed this year and there have been rumors surrounding Gobert, Mitchell, and coach Q. So if the Jazz lose in the first round there is a real chance that we see one or more of them playing (or coaching) for another team next season.   What do you think the Jazz will do in the offseason?

The Jazz lost a tough one against the Bucks but everything went uphill from there despite the injuries. All of the injuries seem like an excuse to rest several players against a short-handed Clippers team. So after a gloomy episode last Saturday we got to be positive again.   #NBA #UtahJazz #TakeNote

After this game, the Jazz are now tied for the fifth spot in the West with the Mavs. The Jazz hit 10 threes in the first quarter but only finished with 17 threes. If the Jazz don't turn things around soon they will lose home-court advantage come playoff time.

The Utah Jazz have 20 games left of the season. And it looks like the Jazz will finish the season with the fourth seed. They have a chance to overtake the Grizzlies and/or Warriors to sneak into the third seed and maybe even the second seed if some craziness happens. But should the Jazz really want to move up in the standings? Staying where they are likely means a first-round matchup with the Mavericks and moving up will likely be a matchup with the Nuggets or Clippers who may have some stars returning by the playoffs.  

The Jazz came up with a big four-point win against the Suns today. The Suns are missing Chris Paul but have still been playing elite basketball without him. This pushes the Jazz to within three games of the third seed in the West as they'll try to overthrow the Grizzlies by season's end. Donovan Mitchell had another great performance tonight and the Jazz received a ton of scoring help from Jordan Clarkson off the bench.   

A lot of people have been talking about how all of the championship contenders are in the East so they are concluding that the Eastern Conference has not only caught up to the West but has surpassed it. In this episode, I discuss why I don't think that is the case.   During the second half of the episode, I give my post-game review of the Jazz vs Mavericks game which ended in a tight victory for the Jazz. Foreshadowing, the Jazz need to stop turning the ball over and the Mavs need help for Luka.

The Utah Jazz look like they need another piece if they want to be an NBA Finals contender. Other than the possibility of the buyout market, the team is set in stone for this season. What options do the Jazz have after this year to look take the next step?

The Utah Jazz continue to miss Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert in their loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Danuel House Jr. put up an incredible 21 points in 16 minutes, but it was not enough for the Jazz as the Grizzlies outscored them 66-34 in the paint, highlighting Rudy Gobert’s absence.

The Utah Jazz miss Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert as they drop another game to the Phoenix Suns where the Jazz had a chance to win it in the fourth quarter. Devin Booker had a phenomenal game, dropping 43 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists.

The Jazz almost stole a win from the Suns with all of the starters out and Joe Ingles not playing the Jazz were only six points off from beating the suns team at home. We got to see some younger players get more minutes so it was at least fun to see what they could do against a championship hopeful Suns team.

The Jazz have had a rough stretch of losses partly due to injuries and health and safety protocols. The next 4 games for the Jazz may be the toughest 4 game stretch for any team this season and the Jazz have the opportunity to make a statement. Will the Jazz turn things around during this stretch? And should we be worried if they don't?

Huge win for the Jazz today and what should be a big confidence boost as what was a hard-fought game turned into a blowout. Nikola Jokic had a ridiculous triple-double tonight and Gobert nearly matched it with almost a 20 20 game. Donovan Mitchell added just over 30 points to help snap the losing streak.

The Jazz have lost four games in a row without Gobert. In this episode, we talk about some takeaways that the Jazz should have from this losing streak. We also talk about whether Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell is the most valuable player for the Jazz. At the end, we talk about the chances of the Jazz trading a rotation player before the trade deadline and how tough the Western Conference will be come playoff time.

The Jazz continue their free fall with their fourth straight loss. They had a really rough game against the Cavs and they really looked undersized without Rudy Gobert and Hassan Whiteside. Hopefully, Gobert can come back soon and save the Jazz from continued free fall.   

The Utah Jazz lost to the Detroit Pistons, the league’s worst offense. The Jazz were missing multiple rotation players due to health and safety protocols but nonetheless had a 22-point lead halfway through the second quarter. The Jazz proceeded to fall apart, losing the lead in the third and regaining it for a brief stint in the fourth quarter before falling behind for good.

The Jazz will look to bounce back against a strong Cleveland team on Wednesday.

The Utah Jazz pulled away from the New Orleans Pelicans in the second half to secure their eighth straight road victory behind a game-high 29 points from Donovan Mitchell. The Jazz continue to miss Hassan Whiteside off the bench, allowing 17 offensive rebounds, which helped the Pelicans get up 12 more shots than the Jazz and score 29 second-chance points. The Jazz will look to extend their road win streak against the Denver Nuggets this Wednesday.

The Jazz have now won five straight and they are looking forward to a tough matchup on New Year's Day against the Golden State Warriors. Both the Rudy's had great games tonight with 21 and 22 points. Let us know what your predictions are for the Warriors game on January 1st.

A sloppy win for the Jazz without Donovan Mitchell, but Jordan Clarkson stepped up with 23 points to beat the Spurs by 6 points. Mitchell should be back in a game or two so let's hope the Jazz can continue to win without him.

The Jazz had a great game and every player played their part to perfection so it was a great team win. Rudy Gobert scored 20 points and pulled in 17 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points on 50% shooting. The Jazz look forward to their Christmas game against the short-handed Dallas Mavericks. Hopefully, this can be the start of another winning streak for the Jazz as they hopefully continue to stay healthy unlike the rest of the league.

Rudy Gobert was impressed with his sixth twenty-point twenty rebound game of his career shooting fifteen of sixteen from the free-throw line. The Utah Jazz will play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Heartbreaking loss for the Jazz but at the end of the day, the Jazz just didn't play well enough to be as close as they were to winning this game. Donovan Mitchell dropped 32 points but didn't get much else help on the offensive end. Rudy Gobert had an impressive box score as well with 19 rebounds and 6 blocks. It's tough losing the second one in a row but let's get back on track next game. My prediction is that Mitchell will have a great showing to guarantee the next win.

Danny Ainge is officially the CEO of the Utah Jazz, whatever that means, and the league is getting wrecked by players entering the health and safety protocols. What does it all mean for the Jazz?

Patrick Beverly and Anthony Edwards were disrespecting Rudy Gobert's defensive ability after losing to the Jazz. In the same week, the NBA's official MVP rankings moved Gobert up to the sixth spot just behind Chris Paul. That may not sound like a big deal but even though it's a one in a million chance that Gobert wins the award it shows that the league is starting to value good basketball play even if it doesn't show up in the box score. The Jazz took care of business against a pretty decent 76ers team and fixed a lot of their recurring issues at least for one game.
